I was born and raised in Oakland, California and I reside in New York City. I received my B.A in Political Science with the minor in Comparative Women's Studies from Spelman College. I received my J.D. from Cornell Law School with a specialization in International Legal Affairs. I am the co-founder of the Avant-Garde Network, a networking group for top-level professionals of color focused on entrepreneurship, career advancement and civic engagement.
I started this blog to give advice and help people attain the success they need in their careers and business. I love to travel, read, cook and work out.
